Admission Policies
The School of Medicine subscribes to a selective but non-discriminatory admission policy in accepting students, and reserves the right to refuse admission to any applicant who fails to meet the set standards and requirements.
To ensure quality graduates, the Admissions Committee determines who among the applicants are qualified to pursue the Doctor of Medicine program offered by the Alberto P. Concha School of Medicine. The committee screens all applicants for admission with the documents presented and makes an official list.
Interested applicants seeking admission to the Doctor of Medicine program may obtain application forms from the Registrar’s office; and submit them along with supporting documents to the same office. Only complete applications will be processed.
While all qualified applicants are given the chance to study, they are expected to maintain the academic standards set by the School of Medicine for retention in the succeeding years. The school reserves the right to refuse the retention of students for reasons like poor academic performance, lack of resources, gross violation of the school’s rules and regulations especially those contrary to the mission, vision and objectives of the school, and the like.
